1960s secretary cabinet by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark

A beautiful secretary cabinet, model 143, designed by Borge Mogensen and manufactured by Soborg Mobelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. This elegant piece is a fine example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship, made of high quality warm brown teak in an elegant yet modern design. The front holds a drop-down door that creates a desk area and additional storage compartments inside. Underneath, several drawer units provide plentiful storage capacity. A beautiful harmony between form and function, a very nice addition to any interior. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
