Terracotta lamp signed Marivaldo Brazil, handcrafted in Belèm, in the Pará region. The vase features geometric patterns and spirals hand-engraved using the sgraffito technique (the upper layer is engraved to reveal the lower layer). This style is directly inspired by pre-Columbian art, specifically the Marajoara culture, located on the island of Marajó at the mouth of the Amazon. It is a lamp, but the electrical part can be removed to keep just the vase. Fully functional. In the photo, the bulb is a 7.6 W LED. E27 socket (screw). In good condition despite some scratches (see photo). The lampshade has small stains. Dimensions: Total height 30 cm. Height without lampshade: 20 cm. Height of the vase: 11.5 cm. Diameter of the vase: 18 cm. Collection in person preferred in Paris (13th). Delivery possible within Paris and nearby suburbs (for a fee) to be discussed.
