Silver Meat Cutlery Set with Minerva Helmet, Paris - €95 for the set. A beautiful silver meat cutlery set with Minerva Helmet, Paris. A lovely antique set (between 1838 and 1973 according to the hallmark) comprising a large fork, a large knife, and their storage box. A truly useful and decorative tableware set! A perfect gift for yourself or someone special. In very good condition, with a lovely patina, and ready to use. Both handles are hallmarked with Minerva Helmet No. 1, an octagonal outline (95% silver), plus an unidentified silversmith's mark. The spoon has an iron blade and hinged handle, while the knife has a chrome-plated iron blade with the Paris stamp. The blades are very sharp, with a few small, discreet traces of old rust on both pieces (see photo). Box in good overall condition, cardboard on wood with metal clasp. Cleaned. 485g total.
