Authentic service trolley / salon cart / wheeled side table from the 60s/70s, Danish production in solid beech. An iconic piece of Scandinavian design attributed to Jens Quistgaard for Nissen. This black version (original factory lacquer finish - never repainted) is rarer to find second-hand than its more common version in natural varnished/oiled wood. Just as vintage but with a more contemporary "bar chic" look in this finish (which also protects it more against grease, dirt, and moisture). A piece of furniture that is as aesthetic as it is practical with its clever design: 2 removable circular trays with a rim - one of which incorporates the rotating "Lazy Susan" system; a folding frame on 3 legs; removable wheels. Beautifully constructed, solid and stable, flexible and space-saving. Everything is original, with mechanisms and wheels intact and functional. From an estate, kept in its original condition since the 70s by a single owner. Good vintage condition: patina and signs of use consistent with its age and history (scratches on the trays visible in low light) - my price takes this into account. Diameter of trays: 47cm / Total width (with legs): 50cm. Height of lower tray: 14cm / height of upper tray: 50cm / Total height of the cart (with legs): 52cm. Height with wheels: +5cm.
