✨ Features. Bring a touch of rustic charm and authenticity to your table with this beautiful rooster-shaped jug. Made from slipware ceramic, it showcases warm shades of brown, ochre, and green, typical of the French naturalist style. With its open beak ready to pour and its tail forming an elegant handle, this proud fowl is both a utilitarian object and a piece of bucolic decoration. 🔍 Details & Condition: This piece was likely made between the 1950s and 1970s, a peak period for this type of animal ceramics in Europe. Note: Please carefully observe the photos, which are an integral part of the description. The tip of the beak is slightly damaged (see photo 8), which is not very noticeable and does not affect the object's sturdiness. This piece is in beautiful vintage condition. It has gracefully withstood the test of time and shows signs of it (see photos). There are slight glaze cracks (crazing) that attest to its authenticity and age. 💚 Why we love it: For its proud appearance and "family home" feel. It is perfect for fresh water, or even to be repurposed as a vase with a few wildflowers or displayed alongside other zoomorphic jugs. It is the ideal asset for a Country Chic or French Cottage style decor. 📏 Dimensions: Height: 23 cm. Width (handle to beak): 22 cm.
