Old rustic wooden armchair – seat in woven rush

I am selling this old rustic armchair made of solid wood, traditionally crafted. This small low chair has the characteristic proportions of an armchair, with a particularly low seat and backrest. Its construction is robust, with several stretchers, and it features a deep seat made of plant fibres/woven rush. The wood has a beautiful old patina and signs of use, which testify to its history and give it a lot of character. A charming piece, ideal for an old house, a farm, a longhouse, or rustic/country decor. It can also serve as an extra seat or a decorative piece. Period: probably the first half of the 20th century.
