Magnificent and large totem soliflore vase in an anthropomorphic and brutalist style, created in the 1960s by the ceramist Henry Cimal (Galerie Courtine in Saint-Paul-de-Vence). Superb craftsmanship in terracotta and stoneware, featuring incised patterns, a rough texture, and beautiful natural shades. Piece signed "HC St Paul" under the base. Dimensions: Height: 30 cm. Diameter at the neck: 3 cm. Condition: Very good overall condition. A tiny chip at the neck has been very discreetly toned down with art pencils, making it almost invisible once placed.
