Lot of 3 Tulips Antique Glass Shades Cut Frosted Art Deco Lamps Chandelier 1930. Lot of 3 antique tulips / lampshades in moulded cut and frosted glass – Art Deco style. A magnificent lot of 3 antique tulips (lampshade globes) in thick glass, ideal for restoring a chandelier, pendant lights, or period wall sconces. They feature beautiful moulded and cut glass work with facet/oval patterns made with a grinding wheel, ending with a scalloped wavy edge (lace effect). The upper part of the neck is in satin/frosted glass. Old and handcrafted production evidenced by the variations in weight and thickness of the glass from one piece to another. Characteristics and Dimensions: Height: approximately 11.1 cm to 11.6 cm. Diameter of the scalloped edge (bottom): approximately 11.8 cm to 12.2 cm. Diameter of the neck (fitting): 5.6 cm. Glass thickness: from 4 mm to 5 mm. Individual weight: 236 g, 254 g, and 353 g. Total weight 843 g. Several chips / nicks (pocs) are present on the edge of the fitting necks (see detailed photos) The defects are completely concealed and invisible once the tulip is installed in its grip or lamp holder.
