Glazed stoneware vase with the appearance of a workshop object, decorated with a striking repetitive motif: deep blue pastilles circled in rusty brown on a dark green speckled background. This organic decoration evokes the stylized feathers of a peacock, in a spirit very close to the Arts & Crafts movement or the productions of European ceramists between the two wars. The vase has a beautiful curved shape, a rough base and a narrow neck. The glaze is rich, textured, slightly crackled in places, with layering effects that testify to handwork and mastered firing. A piece of character, decorative alone or integrated into a collection of vintage ceramics. 📏 Dimensions: Height: 16 cm Neck diameter: 5 cm Center diameter: 9 cm Base diameter: 6.5 cm 🕰 Period: circa 1930-1950 🎨 Style: Arts & Crafts / Folk Art / European Workshop 📍Material: Glazed stoneware 🧾 Condition: Excellent – no cracks or chips – nuanced glaze with natural traces of craftsmanship.
