Superb blown glass vase from Bohemia attributed to Czech designer Jan Beránek for the famous glassworks of Škrdlovice. This piece stands out for its significant material work, its free organic shape, and its beautiful emerald green gradient with bluish hues. The undulating neck and thick walls testify to a true artisanal craftsmanship of mouth-blown glass. The creations of Škrdlovice are now recognised for their originality and quality of execution. They hold an important place in the history of Czechoslovak artistic glass from the 1960s and 1970s.
