Modernist rosewood pedestal desk, Italy circa 1970

Splendid Italian executive desk circa 1970. Very representative of the end of the modernist movement, it asserts its very refined design style in the lineage of the model 250 desk by Pierre Paulin. Very beautiful tubular base in chromed metal with offset fixing giving an impression of suspension of the rosewood veneer top with rounded frame in blond mahogany. 2 drawers under the top, one with key, the other with brushed steel knob (changed), very minimalist, complete the set. Total width 200 cm, depth 90 cm, height 75 cm. Top 186x84 cm. Drawers 40 cm wide and 15 cm high, full depth. Finally, diameter of the legs 6 cm with black rubber pads. In superb condition, there is a dent on the bottom of one of the legs as well as a small chip of veneer on the right drawer, all without impact on the general aesthetic (see last photos). A beautiful piece of design, this desk will bring a touch of chic to your interior. Italian class!!!.
