Trio of jugs and cup Sarreguemines Lancaster decoration

Set of three jugs and a cup from the Sarreguemines factory, Lancaster model. Characteristic decor of the chinoiserie style or "Onion" (Zwiebelmuster), very popular in European earthenware since the 18th century: a stylised asymmetrical floral bouquet inspired by the East. It features blooming flowers (resembling peonies or chrysanthemums), fine sinuous stems, cut foliage, and small bell-shaped flowers reaching upwards. Brush-painted touches in the same navy blue on the handles and the rim. Stamps for Lancaster and Sarreguemines are only found under the smallest jug. Heights of the jugs are 11 cm, 15 cm, and 15 cm, with a diameter of 10 cm; the cup height is 6.5 cm and diameter 12 cm. In beautiful vintage condition, shiny, with a tiny chip on the edge of one jug and signs of use at the bottom of one of the two large jugs (see photos). Timeless charm of the Lancaster model.
