Wooden toy guard by Danish Tivoli Kay Bojesen

Wooden toy depicting a danish tivoli guard in uniform. Signed inside a leg kay bojesen, copyright, denmark. Established in 1942. This guard dates back to 1950. In good general condition. A few rare traces of time (like his smile added probably by a child!), some lack of paint. Rare example with its white trousers and original collar. Hand-painted wood in white, blue, red and black. Stand alone. His arms and legs move in a stiff motion. Charming to play or to decorate. Height 22 cm. Width 4 cm.
