A charming and unique set of twelve vintage dessert plates, mismatched, forms a service with Mediterranean accents. Three plates in glazed earthenware with a solid ochre glaze and scalloped edges recall the terracotta of southern tables. Three white faience plates with pierced edges, hand-painted with a stylised bird surrounded by flowers, evoke the craftsmanship of Mediterranean pottery. Three white faience plates with fluted edges are adorned with a classic blue floral bouquet, and the last three feature a blue and ochre floral border. Together, these four designs create a mismatched table setting, reminiscent of summer lunches taken in the shade of a trellis, among lemons and striped tablecloths — a way to invite summer to your table all year round.
