Beautiful carpet Balochi Terminal, in perfect condition around 1970, in wool on wool, knotted hand, beautiful deep colors of red, Brown and blue night. This rug has uncommon dimensions, velvet, fringe and the holiday are in perfect conditions. Dimensions: Length: 165 cm x width included fringes: 84.5 cm - (158.5 cm without fringes) Certificate of authenticity. This carpet has been cleaned professionally and ecologically. The Baluchis live in the border regions between the Iran and the Afghanistan. Baloch refers to nomads belonging to small tribes and the varied origins. They make their living from agriculture, farming of sheep, goats and camels as well as the weaving of the carpet. Baloch carpets are very close to Afghanistan and Turkmenistan carpets. The colors are deaf, in dark red, dark blue, black and brown tones. Patterns are geometric. These rugs are sometimes fabrics decorative kilims on the widths to protect against wear. Lengths, they are often made of several cables, surjetes by the hair of goat or horse hair. The string is made of wool or a blend of wool and goat hair, and newer carpets is cotton. Execution is of very high quality, these rugs are tight and thin and bring a real feel of authentic nomadic craft. These carpets are sold in part in the city of deMeshed, in Iran, called Baloch mat Terminal, and partly in the city of Herat, Afghanistan, these are the Baloch Herat.
