Baumann parrot coat rack on foot

This beautiful varnished wooden coat rack from the famous furniture brand baumann no longer needs to be presented: we all met it at one time or another, at our parents' house, our grandparents' house, in a waiting room, in a bistro. We did not do more practical: it is solid, allows to hang a large number of coats and hats thanks to its 6 branches and the upper half rotates to facilitate access to all coats. This one still has the baumann label france, it must date from the 70s. It is in good structural condition, solid, no part moves, the varnish is still present, but it has some traces of time: some shards of wood that seem to have been glued to the level of some screws of the lower part (it seems that the one who screwed the feet did not go there with a dead hand, he forced a little too much on the screws!), but it does not show too much. The foot reinforcement ring has a fairly visible mark, maybe a dog that has cut its teeth on it! What is surprising is that I use an identical coat rack at home and it has the same kind of brands! You have to believe that dogs were also big fans of baumann furniture! When I found it it was swinging a little, the fruit once again of a somewhat abrupt assembly it seems to me ! Rather than disassemble and reassemble it, at the risk of damaging the wood or the screw steps, I preferred to add a thin wooden wedge under one foot, invisible once the coat rack on his feet. It is now stable again. It is 181 cm high and its base forms a square of about 43 cm on one side. It weighs about 5 kg. I propose to deliver myself within a radius of about 1h30 around my home, or even more depending on the destination, so do not hesitate to ask me for a delivery quote.
