Recent edition of the desk lamp nb100 from the 1950s, designed by louis kalff for philips.

this lamp has a modern led light source that you just have to touch to switch on. Colour: bluish-grey.

louis c. Kalff was a pioneer of industrial designs and is a famous lighting architect.
he worked for philips marketing department from 1925, where he was quickly moved to a leading position.
for the universal exhibition of 1958 in brussels, he worked on the philips pavilion with the french architect le corbusier. The modernist spirit of le corbusier can be recognised in the conception of the nb100.
