Nice portrait painted by Eliane Thiollier. Eliane Thiollier is a French painter (1926-1989). This former student of the School of Fine Arts in Paris attended the René Jaudon workshop in the early 1950s where she refined her pictorial technique. Her participation in the Salon de la Jeune Peinture in 1951, when she moved to Paris, made her befriend Paul Rebeyrolle, Raymond Guerrier, Edouard Mac-Avoy, Michel Henri and Maurice Boitel who in 1955 invited her to his group at salon Comparisons. She will then find, in Provence, the characteristic colors of her palette, made of red and ochre. Table in very good condition. Signed canvas at the bottom right.
