Beautiful pair of armchairs handmade in india, made of wood and bone inlay. Marquetry is an ancient decorative technique that consists of inlaying delicate pieces of bone (originally ivory or ebony), carved by hand, into the surface of an object, usually made of wood. The result is a striking floral or geometric pattern of contrasting colors and materials that make these pieces truly unique. Important: note that the two armchair chairs are similar but significantly different in design. They are old. 60s/70s. Reported following an expatriation.
