folding armchair B4 by Marcel Breuer

Superb folding armchair b4 by marcel breuer from the 1970s. This iconic bauhaus armchair with a nickel-plated tubular steel structure uses the same construction technique as the wassily armchair. However, here the side pillars are x-shaped and the seat suspended at the rear. The armrests, backrest and seat are made of black "eisengarn" stretched canvas. The whole is, given its age, in very good condition. It has no major defects, just some marks of completely normal use especially at the level of the coating which has lost tension and is in places slightly discolored.
