Hofmann Le Corbusier chair B9, 1900

Chair B9 by Hofmann Josef circa 1900, Bielitz factory (Silesia) Well-recognized stamp, see photo. Each curved wood manufacturer had in its range the B9 chair of which Kohn was the creator, that of Hofmann with the particularity of having a very pronounced rear arch. It is remarkable, very elegant. The manual canning of this chair is new, French canning with 6 strands. Beautiful blonde patina under Gum lacquer. Seated diameter: 45 cm, Seat height: 47 cm.
