Entrance door H233xW130cm XIX° glazed oak and old grids

Large entrance door of the late nineteenth century, solid oak, pushing straight, with two leaves. The 43.5cm wide (semi-fixed) right leaf has the possibility of being blocked in fixed part using high and low cleats with brass handles. The left leaf is 85cm wide inside, 86cm outside. This wide door of 86cm thus makes it possible to maintain a wide entrance on a daily basis, and at the same time to be able to increase if necessary the size of the passage by releasing the semi-fixed leaf. Massive and solid, this door has a mahogany stained varnished oak. The whole oak is in very good condition, solid, some minimal shocks, scratches, visible on our photos, old traces of xylophagous insects obviously treated. The lower part is based and carved and molded panels, with its molded base. The upper part has a large glazed part allowing a bright entrance. It is composed of 3 identical wrought iron grids (115cm high by 34.5cm wide), painted black, and is equipped with two translucent glasses, granitas, on the initial 3 (117cm high by 36cm wide). We decided not to replace the missing glass, leaving the choice to the buyer according to the desired use, to pass the whole in double glazing, or in another style of glass. A "modern" security lock that was placed under the original handle has been removed, visible traces in the photos. This original handle, of the gollot brand: lock with wooden cane spouts, is equipped with its pin allowing the blocking of the bolt and therefore the opening of the interior. This door can obviously be imagined pickled, revarnished or why not painted in the desired shade! Weight: 92kg. Dimensions: 233cm high, 130cm wide and 4.8cm thick and 8cm in total at the plinth (door 86cm wide, the small leaf is 234cm high, 4.4cm thick and 7.6 with the skirting board).
