Early Martin Visser Sleeper Sofa for 't Spectrum 1958

Rare sleeper sofa designed by martin visser in 1958 for 't spectrum. This is an early version which has a chain mechanism to turn the backrest backwards to get the sleep function. This version was only for a short period in production. The sofa is completely restored. It is newly upholstered with a beige/sand/orange wool fabric (camira advantage, color: sandvale), also the foam is renewed. And the frame is professionally repainted in its original color black... Dutch design icon. Functional and minimalist design. The sofa is in excellent condition.
