Large teak and metal bookcase. These shelves can very well be used as a room divider because the back side is the same as the front side with the same details such as the back plates falling inwards and the small carved black stripes. The shelves are composed of 3 parts with, at the bottom of each, a small cabinet with two doors or shelves in the central part. The handles are made of elongated metal and this same metal is found on the sides of the 4 uprights. The use of metal is remarkable considering its age but combines very well with light brown wood. The shapes of the 11 shelves are angular and give these shelves a very playful look. They can be adjusted as you can see in the photos. At the top and bottom, you can see round plates with a thread with which you can attach them to your ceiling. Of course, we can make them last a little longer if necessary. The work is very similar to that of Ico Parisi, especially if you look at the amount of detail. Italian elegance at its best!
