Cat wood marquetry tray 1950

Couroc monterey california wood marquetry tray, cat. H2041. This plateau of the 50s and 60s is a technical feat, in fact it is a wood marquetry incorporated in bakelite with the brand couroc. Note wear and friction, scratches. Label with a torn back (probably brand label). Several wood species were used and golden top for whiskers.
