Letter holder or mail rack in porcelain and bronze Louis XVI style late nineteenth century

Letter holder or mail rack in porcelain and gilded bronze louis XVI style. The décor is hand painted. It depicts wreaths of flowers, ribbons and garlands. Some elements are enhanced in gold watermark. The frame is made of gilded bronze. On the underside of the mail rack there is a signature sèvres style, but it is most likely the samson manufacture. It is a delightful french production that dates from the late nineteenth century. Size: Height: 15.3 cm. Width: 16.5 cm. Depth: 5.3 cm.
