Wicker and wood suitcase

They are all several years or even decades old and therefore all bear traces of their experience. Beautiful little suitcase / trunk with a completely original shape. It consists of wicker and wooden parts. A braiding work solidifies all the parts together. The suitcase opens and closes thanks to elastics and small wooden buttons. The wooden parts on the front and back will be to paint or sand, because they have stripes and you will find small paintings made by its former owner, you have on one side a bull and on the other a painting that has been half sanded depicting dancers. The wicker on the top, bottom and sides is in very good condition. For the wicker that surrounds the paintings, it is aging, with a broken strand, which in no way hinders the solidity of the trunk. Opening and closing is quite easy, the interior is clean, with a wooden pencil inscription on the 2 inner sides. In summary a very beautiful atypical object but with some work to bring to make it to your taste. Can be used as a newspaper holder, storage or simply decoration.
