Louis XVI era chair stamp nicolas denis delaisement. Eighteenth century. Beautiful laqué wood chair, resting sweats 4 feet with roughed-down grooves; Covered with a green veleours fabric (state of use, correct). Stamped by nicolas denis delaisement. "delaisement (nicolas-denis) was received master carpenter in paris on 18 october 1776 and four years later became a member of parliament or councillor of his community. He remained on rue de cléry until at least 1792, producing beech, walnut and mahogany seats, which he stamped delaisement. Many of his works imitate jacob's models, but sometimes in a very personal style, like boudoir chairs remarkable for the narrow and high shape of their rectangular backs decorated with daisies. The furniture store's collections contain a marquee signed by delaisement. At the sale of baron franchetti (paris, 1894) there was a living room furnishings from this master.
