Description
Mario Bellini's Camaleonda Bouclé wool section sofa - 1970s Mario Bellini, Italy 1970s, camaleonda sofa, padded in curly wool. Postmodern sectional sofa by Mario Bellini for C-B Italia. The entire sofa consists of 3 large seating elements and two armrests. The sofa was padded in a curly wool ivory fabric. As we have a large stock of camelonda parts, we can assemble the sofa of your dreams and stuff it into a fabric of your choice. This design became famous almost immediately after being presented in the exhibition "Italy and the New Domestic Landscape" at the MoMA Museum in 1972. Mario Bellini (1935-) trained as an architect and became one of the main creators of the Italian style of the post-war period. At the beginning of his career, he worked with Olivetti, Cassina and B-B Italia, which allowed him to become familiar with synthetic resins and polyurethanes at an early age. His furniture is exciting, both in the use of materials and in the originality of his creations. Bellini did not believe in the precise limits of design, but rather designed for the relationship between man and the environment. W 288 cm, D 96 cm, H 64 cm, SH 36 cm
