Breton bigoudène plateau Fourmaintreaux, Desvres earthenware

Superb little ceramic tray by desvres, created by gabriel fourmaintreaux (1886 - 1984) Stamped gf on the reverse. Breiz collection, it is also noted "handmade" on the back. Made in france around 1930 - 1950. In the spirit of art deco. Enamelled ceramic representing a young breton woman in traditional costume. In excellent general condition, there are no accidents or defects. No crack, no restoration, no stain, no ginning, no chipping. Very beautiful rare piece of a big name in ceramics.
