Antique portable lantern lamp

Nice style for this old portable lantern, walking lamp. From cipel, compagnie industrielle des piles électriques (cipel mazda hydra wonder carbone lorraine) made in france. In printed sheet metal crocodile style, and this large diffuser lens circled in aluminum. The original battery is present but of course no longer works, it was 2.5v. For decoration or diy.
