Pair of emerald green bedside tables with curved legs

Date: ca. 1920-1950. These two pretty bedside tables will add a splash of color to your room. They are very functional; they each have three drawers, the tray is surrounded by a partial gallery, and their size makes them ideal for small rooms. The soft curves of the feet marry with the scalloped effect of the gallery and the apron. The buttons on the drawers are silver in color and have rococo style tourbillons, thus complementing the neo-rococo style elements. The tables were painted with a very matte casein paint. I didn't varnish them to keep the matte effect intact, but I varnished the trays to give them some protection from glasses of water, etc. The color of the paint is described as petroleum blue but in my opinion the final effect goes more towards emerald green.
