Former curulle chair says dagobert carved wood

Superb curule chair including. A footing in the shape of a "tenaille" or brace or "x" seen from the front. A bowl-shaped seat. A band-shaped back at height. The back, arms and base of the seat are richly decorated with sculpted motifs: mascaron, grotesque, lily flower, rinsings. The style evokes both the middle ages (dagobert's throne) and the renaissance: a true object of curiosity that remains perfectly functional. Very good condition apart from a crack in the arm (visible in the photo) easy to repair. H 106 X la 60.5 X p 52 cm.
