Description
Hubert bequet soup, flat and vase: Belgium - mid-20th century. Very nice vintage soup kitchen, 50's, in polychrome ceramic from delft holland by hubert bequet. Vegetable pattern yellow, ochre, white, blue, green composed of flowers (floréal or florial). Delft earthenware (delft blue) is one of the dutch factories that were established in the delft region from the 17th century on. The soup kitchen was hand-crafted and hand-painted in quaregnon, belgium in the 1950s. The décor is very fine and harmonious, a very detailed floral design with shades of brown, terracotta, blue and green on a white background. In excellent condition. Long. 38 cm. Larg. 23 cm. Top 25 cm. 'pretty unflected vase, not chipped in perfect condition', same manufacture. Each piece is signed.
