Vase - porcelain Raymond Peynet Rosenthal

From the 1960s, in perfect condition, this charming rosenthal vase in enamelled porcelain with "v"1500 decoration signed by lovers of raymond peynet (1908-1999). He is famous for having created in 1942 this couple of lovers drawn on many media and associated with raymond peynet and denise damour whom he married in 1930. On one side, he takes it away surrounded by birds evocative of peace and freedom. On the other, they are on their way to their future from an olive tree representing strength and victory, wisdom and fidelity, immortality and hope, wealth and abundance. This peynet-loving couple enjoyed immediate success and was soon part of the heritage of popular imagery ensuring him a worldwide celebrity.
