"Vanessa" lamppost consists of 5 white laminated metal tubes of various heights, topped by a glass cylinder with coral vermicelli, surrounding a chrome cylinder above. Top. : Diam. 30 cm 25 kg Angelo Brotto (1914, Venice-2002, Campiglia Marittima, Italy) was a Venetian designer and artist who is known for his work as a lamp designer and his glass works. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in 1941, and immediately after the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned frescoes in Montenegro.In the late 1940s, he designed glass objects for Peggy Guggenheim and received numerous design and art awards during his career in Bergamo, Cremona, Suzzara, and at the Exhibition of Engravings in Rome. Brotto collaborated with Murano Espéria's glass factory in the 1960s and 1970.et became a glass designer capturing the essence of Time, creating joyful and modern forms, breaking with the Murano glass tradition. He won numerous awards for his creations. Claws with white hairspray, a coral glass split along its length, a white glass cracked over 15 cm, discs surmounting the chrome parts have some punctures, an unseen foot redone in wood.
