Oil on canvas military portrait uniform empire late eighteenth

This quality portrait is to be located on the end of the eighteenth or the beginning of the nineteenth. It probably represents a marshal of the empire carrying a legion of honor. The work is of quality, especially in the rendering of the face and guaranteed late eighteenth-early nineteenth. This portrait does not bear a signature, but it is necessarily the hand of an artist. The frame is period, it is a simple wand that goes perfectly to this type of work. You will notice that the oil on canvas has been restored, you will note that the chassis is therefore new, the work did not have any particular damage, the restorer was satisfied with a simple cleaning, there is no repainting. We report for the most picky, minimal deformations, slight friction and scratches, wear and stain on the pass.
