Gilbert metenier's enamelled sandstone cut (1876-?). The son of the ceramicist louis metenier, to whom he succeeded in 1920 to take over the family factory of the metenier art sandstones, located in gannat (allier), he worked until 1940 when he would have destroyed all the family mussels to prevent them from falling into the hands of the occupier. He goes to live in the south of france where one loses his trace, including that of his death certificate...
