Eric merthen scandinavian modern tornado sofa 2-seater for ire möbler sweden 60s

Two-seater sofa designed by eric merthen and manufactured by the ire möbler firm in skillingaryd, sweden, in the 1960s. The loverseats edition of this model is extremely hard to come by. Piece in very good condition. At some point it was reupholstered in pastel lime green chenille. The upholstery is kept in good condition of use, without damage or stains. The wooden structure has very pure lines on its front and a beautiful back with leather strap detail. It should be noted that the wood has a precious grain. Measures: Height 71 cm. Seat height 44 cm. Width 148 cm. Depth 83 cm.
