Suspension PH5 by Poul Henningsen edition Louis Poulsen

Hello. I propose a set of three ph5 suspensions created by poul henningsen in the 1950s for louis pulsen. They are sold individually, with the possibility of buying the whole. They date back to 1979; installed in a restaurant, and have only recently been dismantled. They are in excellent condition, no rust, no scratches, no shock. The matte laqué paint is as it was originally, as well as the blue and red parts. The name of this icon of scandinavian design is taken from the 50 cm diameter of the main shade of the suspension, created in 1958. Poul henningsen wanted to improve the color rendering characteristics of the light source in ph 5. Small red and blue blinds have therefore been added to reinforce the colours of the part of the spectrum to which the eyes are least sensitive, red and blue, and to mitigate the central area of yellow-greens, to which the eyes are most sensitive. At the time, no one suspected that ph 5 would eventually embody poul henningsen's lighting: 100% anti-dazzling, regardless of the light source used and the way the lamp is installed.
