KW-1 glass and travertine coffee table by Hank Kwint for Metaform 1980s

Impressive contemporary design by hank kwint for metaform netherlands. A design from the mid-80s that is yet to be recognized by the design world at large and therefore a potential future investment piece. The table stars a sophisticated design that evolves around the central travertine foot. The inox metal bars pass through the foot in a cross section pattern. The thick glass plate complements the look. The abstract lines of the frame really stand out through the glass plate. The table is in excellent and original condition with only some minor wear visible. The glass plate below has a very small chip at the edge.
