“Breda” armchair by Pierre Guariche for Meurop in Belgium 1960

1960s “breda” lounge chair designed by pierre guariche, manufactured by meurop in belgium. This very recognizable design easy chair has a black lacquered metal base with a nice skai (fauxe leather) upholstery. The model is named “breda” (after a dutch city) and was designed in 1967. The large armrests and tilted seat create an excellent seating experience as well as a lovely modern design. It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Seating height: 40cm.
