"tapis bursa, turkey, 63 cm X 123 cm, silk and wool, early 20th in very good condition" Bursa carpet, originally from turkey in silk and wool mixed on cotton, very finely knotted from the beginning of the 20th century. The décor is delicate and very bright and presents us with a baroque niche with an arch in the shape of a horseshoe, accompanied by flowering arabic and central décor, a lion catching a purple lamb under a large tree with very large flowers, making it a t unusual in this type of carpet. The colors are soft, pale blue, pink, white and black. Bursa are often small in size. The borders decorated with flowers, alternate flowers with eight petals, pink or green. This carpet has been cleaned professionally and environmentally. Dimensions: width: 63 cm (2' ) X length: 107 cm (3'6" ) - length with fringes: 123 cm (4' ).
