Description
Mahogany tint secretary designed by robert charroy for the french publisher mobilor around 1950. Rare and ingenious, the set consists of 3 elements superimposed and held between two metal tubular structures by simple compression. An upper part library, a middle part secretary with flap and a lower part for storage with 2 magnetic doors. The secretary benefits from a sky blue formica tray and two 2 small removable glass shelves. Good general condition, wear and patina in accordance with age and use. Note a small wood graft above the key of the flap and 2 small slots in the formica at the level of the side fasteners of the flap. Size: height 177 cm. Width 84 cm. Depth 42 cm. Fixed high bookcases of 11 cm and 23 cm high X 23 cm deep. Desk part with flap 43 cm high X depth of the worktop 69 cm X 76 cm wide. Bottom cupboard 46 cm high X 76 cm wide X 40 cm deep. Removable shelf. Foot height 19 cm.
