Midcentury UFO desk lamp | Dazor model 2004 |Vintage 50's

This Razor desk lamp is from American origin. It dates back to the 1950's. It is a classic UFO design that is reminiscent of Fase Madrid lamps. The lamp stands on a heavy base to prevent it from tipping over. It has a lamp shade that looks lie a flying saucer, with a glass fibre lamp shade that diffuses the light nicely. Both the base, supporting arm and upper part of the lamp shade are made from enamelled aluminium. The turning on/off switch sits on the vertical arm. The lamp is in a good vintage condition. Some small traces of use through the years, small nicks on the paint and the tiniest of dents on the lamp shade. This is hardly visible. The lower price reflects these imperfections.
