1970s opaque glass dome glashütte limburg flush mount

An opaque, white, opaline, domed, glass, flush ceiling mount with a brass trim. Manufactured by glashütte limburg in germany during the 1970s. The glass shade slots and locks into the polished brass armature which screws into the ceiling. Four e27 screw in bulbs are required. Rewired and in full working order. In very good vintage condition with some small marks to the glass which are barely noticeable. The brass shows some age related wear in places. The light glows with a wonderful even light when lit. Perfect for most rooms of the home especially those with a low ceiling perhaps in a bathroom or hallway. It could be fun with different coloured bulbs too. Labelled - limburg on the interior bulb holder as illustrated in the images. Dimensions: diameter: 50cm height: 25cm.
