Old chest in solid wood and fitting - xixth. Old chest in solid wood and iron, artisanal realization, nineteenth century. It has been restored at the level of the feet that seem to have been added later (there is also one more). Solid wood, old-fashioned manufacturing, probably oak wood. It closes with the iron pusher, the keys that fit into the lock are decorative. They are in their juice, there is one more because only 2 openings. Subtle work of ironwork, the hinges are riveted in the wood. Aesthetics and character, a beautiful element of interior decoration. Size: Length: 47 cm. Width: 27 cm. Height: 26 cm. Weight: 6 kg. The structure is in good condition, no fragility. The wood is stitched mainly under the base, one of the feet is not straight, see on photos. A natural crack in the wood on the top lid highlighted in photo 12. The fittings, clasps and hinges are in good condition, with a beautiful aging patina.
