Description
Old transparent siphon of seltz water. For the record, these siphons were enthroned in our bistros. They were designed to produce a mixture of water and carbon dioxide used to cut various alcohols (wormwood, picon, ...) it was enough to mix powders of tartaric acid and baking soda with water. A pressurized mixture was banned in 1955, due to the risk of the bottle bursting. Generally, these siphons are customized to the name of the lemonadier, this one comes from london and was manufactured in 1953.
