The union of lighting and electromechanical equipment "polam" - a polish union existing in 1972–1989, gathering plants producing lighting and electromechanical equipment. The polam union, established on december 31, 1971, took its name from the leading plant of the polam bulb factory in pabianice, and formally derives from the unitra electronic industry union of unitra light source combine unitra-polam, which in the new union was called kombinat techniki light "polam". The name of polam and the logo were placed before the names of the plants included in the union. In 1989, the "polam" union was dissolved, and its plants began production under their own trademarks.
