Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen "Swan"chair 2005

This model 3320 or "swan" swivel lounge chair was designed by arne jacobsen in 1958 and is still a design icon. These are manufactured in 2005, they are all marked in the foot and with a sticker, 2 have a label in the fabric as well. All in good original conditon with minor traces of use. Seat height35 cm. Seat depth40 cm. Arne jacobsen was a danish architect and designer. He is remembered for his contribution to architectural functionalism. He was succesfull with his simple but effective chair designs. Jacobsen was admitted to the architecture school at the royal danish academy of fine arts. He have won the c. F. Hansen medal (1955) and the year after winning the "house of the future" award, arne jacobsen set up his own office.
